Does Dark Ritual last forever or only for this ascension?Īs confusing as the tooltip may seem it's quite simple. The skills were meant for active play, therefore using them will take you out of Idle mode.Ĥ. The reload would merely reset the cooldown and if you used it before the previous one was over, it would just overwrite the first one.ģ. If I use reload on a skill that is activated and then use that skill again, does it double the effects of that skill? Ultimate DPS combo: 8- wait for cooldown-3-8-7-1-2-4-5 or 8- wait for cooldown-3-8-1-7-2-4-5 (This combo effectively allows you to Energize two sets of skills but will require you to wait for the first cooldown)Ģ. If you can click more than 5 times per second and have Bhaal level 9+, then use 8-3-7-1-2 If you can click more than 5 times per second and don't have Bhaal level 9+, then use 1-2-3-8-7 If you don't want to click, then use 8-1-2-3-7 (Note: Although 8+1 should effectively give you 20 clicks per second, it does not account for latency factors which in actuality only gives you around 14-16 clicks per second.) It's easy to get into a routine of leveling ancients and then dumping the rest of your souls in Morgulis, then forgetting you actually need banked souls to regild. This is a pretty common mistake among players who have Morgulis and are used to dump leftover souls into him every run, meaning they have 0 banked souls pretty much all the time. Why can't I move gilds? When I try, nothing happens! The cap on multipliers never had anything to do with regilding, since you regild a new hero way before the one you're using gets anywhere close to 4100.ĭamage comparison after the patch, why it doesn't change anythingġ4. No, the removal of that cap changes absolutely nothing in terms of gilding strategies.

Now that v0.22 removed the level 4100 cap on multipliers, does that mean I should go back to the earlier heroes, or gild a different hero? The Rangers are the set of nine heroes after Frostleaf.ġ3. Similarly, the next hero is even more outrageously expensive, and you're not supposed to reach him once you first see him. Your early heroes in their high 1000s will quickly overtake him again. He's not that great anyway, while once you DO buy him, he'll be dishing out insane damage, as soon as you get him to 120 or so, he'll start showing weakness, much like Frostleaf does after his last upgrade. The huge gap between Frostleaf and Dread Knight is here for a reason, and in the early game you simply will not be able to afford him. How do I buy Dread Knight? He's too expensive!ĭread Knight (as well as all the heroes below him) are not meant for the early game. She's the cheapest hero to level if you need extra levels for souls, but other than that, don't bother leveling her past 150.ġ1. She has no multipliers, so taking her to 1000 will not do anything, except waste gold. This is why early Heroes (e.g: Treebeast, Ivan, Brittany) are recommended because they are cheaper to level up to 1000+.įrostleaf and Treebeast DPS Comparison - Useful reference for Pre-Zone Level 200 players.Ĭid's clicking power practically means nothing once you get your first few "clicking damage gains +0.5% of your DPS" upgrades. Keep in mind the further you go down on the list of Heroes to level up, the more expensive they will become. Because of this, after getting Frostleaf to level 100 you should go back up to Treebeast and work on getting him to level 1000+. For the about the same cost it takes to get Frostleaf to level 150, you can get Treebeast to level 1025 which will deal more DPS than Frostleaf, making Treebeast more cost efficient.

The DPS multipliers should not be taken lightly. Starting at level 200, Heroes get (4x) multipliers to their DPS every 25 levels, and (10x) multipliers every 1000 levels.
Why do people recommend leveling the early Heroes (like Treebeast) to 1000? EXAMPLE:īrittany > Level 50 > Elixir of Deditzificationĩ.

Note: The only time you should level Heroes past their last upgrade is before you ascend in order to squeeze out a few additional Hero Souls from combined total Hero Levels. It is recommended not to level Heroes any higher beyond their last upgrade as that would be unnecessary spending. It's not absolutely crucial to get this in perfect order as long as you make sure to level earlier Heroes whenever you can afford it until their last upgrade. Then start tapering each Hero below by increments of 25 levels and buying their upgrades as well.
